Lionel Messi scored a goal from a free-kick in the final moments of his first game for
Inter Miami, leading the team to a 2-1 victory over Cruz Azul.
"It’s a movie that we have seen before. It’s common for him, you know. It looks absolutely normal, but it’s not … we’re speaking about the GOAT."
After the game, Martino told reporters.
Lionel Messi signed a contract with Inter Miami after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain. In addition to Messi, Inter Miami has also signed contracts with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Inter Miami will play their next game on Tuesday against Atlanta.
