Messi has joined Inter Miami
Lionel Messi's signing with Inter Miami has been officially announced.
Lionel Messi has joined Inter Miami in the United States' national football league after leaving
Paris Saint-Germain. This has been confirmed by the Inter Miami club.
While Barcelona and Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal made great efforts to attract Lionel Messi, it was ultimately the American team that managed to sign a contract with him.
Lionel Messi confirmed his move to Inter Miami and told Mundo Deportivo:
"I made the decision that I am going to go to Miami. I still haven't closed it 100 per cent. I'm missing some things but we decided to continue the path."
After signing Messi, Inter Miami is reportedly interested in signing Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
