Aston Villa confirmed Ashley Young will be leaving the club

Ashley Youngwill leave the team at the end of his contract on June 30, becoming the first to leave the club.
The 37-year-old English player Ashley Young rejoined Aston Villa in 2021 after winning the Italian League title with
Inter Milan. "We can announce that Ashley Young will be leaving at the end of his contract," Aston Villa said in a statement issued today.
He added: "Everyone at Aston Villa would like to extend their sincere thanks to Ashley for his services to the club, and we wish him all the best in his future goals."
Young had made more than 100 appearances for Watford before joining Aston Villa in 2007, according to British news agency BA Media.
Young joined
Manchester Unitedin 2011 and spent nine years with them, during which he topped the podiums in the English Premier League, the FA Cup, the English Professional League Cup, and the European League.
Young joined Inter Milan in 2020 and became the third English player to reach the podium in the Italian League, after Jimmy Greaves and Jerry Hitchens in 1963.
Ashley Young who participated in 39 matches for the
Englandnational team and can play as a left back or as a left winger, played 32 games last season, and he participated with Aston Villa in a total of 250 matches during his two spells with the team.
