Chelsea winger Havertz admits Bayern Munich are 'hard to say no to'

Bayern Munich is once again being linked with a move for Kai Havertz, who admits that it's difficult for any German player to turn down the Bundesliga giants

Chelsea's versatile winger Kai Havertz has once again been linked to

Bayern Munich

. When he left Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, rumors of him moving to Allianz Arena started circulating. However, he chose to join Chelsea and has since won the Champions League. With Thomas Tuchel now at Bayern, his future has come under question once more.

Havertz has offered no indication that he will be pushing for a move away from Stamford Bridge, but concedes that Bayern are a difficult team to snub. He has told Sport Bild: “

Bayern are generally a huge club that it's hard to say no to as a German player, but my personal goal has always been to play abroad at some point. In England or Spain.”

Havertz

went on to say that joining Bayern in 2020 was “almost a bit too boring” having already shown what he is capable of in the Bundesliga, with a switch to England at that point in his career considered to be “just right”.

Havertz has played in 128 games for Chelsea and scored 32 goals. He has a contract with Chelsea until 2025. Havertz is best known for his match-winning goals in the 2021 Champions League final and the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup final.
