Manchester United are to ‘conduct own process’ in finding out what happened with the Mason Greenwood situation

The charges against Greenwood were dropped but United are unconvinced

Manchester United announced that they “will conduct its own process” when it comes to taking decisions about

Mason Greenwood

after the charges against him were dropped.

Greenwood was charged with attempted rape, assault and coercive control in January 2022 and was about to stand trial but Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) have announced that the charges are discontinued as of today.

However,

Manchester United

are not satisfied with the situation and plan to have their investigation on the matter and have released a statement that reads:

"Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.

"The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete."
