Leao's Lawyer: “Rafael has no intention of leaving Milan”
Milan has been in negotiations with the Portuguese over a contract renewal for months. However, some Italian journals reported that the negotiations have failed. Leao's lawyer makes it clear that his client has no desire to leave Milan.

Leao scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in the Serie A last season and was awarded the Serie A MVP award. The Portugal international has already scored 7 goals and provided 9 assists this season. He also scored two goals for Portugal in the World Cup.
Ted Dimvula, Leao's lawyer, told
Fabrizio Romanoregarding misleading rumors about his client:
"There are many false and misleading informations about Rafael Leao, mainly in Italian press.
"This has only one aim: too parasitize cordial and professional exchange that we have with AC Milan management regarding the extension of Rafael's contract.
"The player's priority has not changed: he wants to stay at AC Milan and continue to grow and progress in this institution and this city that he loves so much."
