Fiorentina signs Sirigu from Napoli after ceasing Gollini's loan move
After failing to make an impression in Napoli since his move last summer, the 36-year-old goalkeeper joins Fiorentina on a permanent transfer after the Tusnacs terminated Atalanta's Gollini's loan contract. The latter joined Napoli on loan with an option to buy.

Now, after failing to make any appearances for the Partenopei, the 36-year-old goalkeeper joins Fiorentina on a permanent move. Subsequently, Atalanta goalkeeper,
Pierluigi Gollini, joined Napoli on loan with an option to buy after spending the first half of the season at
Fiorentina.

ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce that Salvatore Sirigu is now a Fiorentina player. The 36-year-old has been signed on a permanent deal from SSC Napoli,”
Fiorentina said in a statement.
“Born in Nuoro, Sardinia on 12 January 1987, the well-travelled goalkeeper has plied his trade for Palermo, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, Osasuna, Torino and Genoa, among other clubs.
“Sirigu has 28 Italy caps to his name and was a member of the Azzurri squad that won Euro 2020.
“Meanwhile Pierluigi Gollini has returned to Atalanta after his loan was terminated.”
