Sebastian Haller gets back to Dortmund training after cancer treatment
Dortmund fans rejoiced as Sebastian Haller returned to BVB training on Monday after being cleared by doctors following his operation for testicular cancer.
Having been diagnosed with testicular cancer in July, shortly after he had joined Dortmund, Sebastian Haller has undergone two operations since and it seems that the Ivory Coast striker could finally get back to BVB training as his cancer has been reported absent.
Although he joined Dortmund in the Summer,
Hallerhasn’t had a chance to play for Borussia Dortmund ever since but if all goes well, Haller’s inclusion in Dortmund’s training camp at Marbella could mean a return to action for Haller when Bundesliga comes back.
Upon his return to training, Haller posted a video on Twitter saying:
"Hello guys, I'm finally back. It was not that easy but with your support it was better and easier to do. I'm just looking forward to seeing you in the stadium for some victories."
Unlike the Premier League, Bundesliga is now on a winter break which means
Dortmundwill be back in competitive action on January 22.
