Sky Sports confirms Gareth Southgate remains England's manager

After failing to secure a place in Qatar 2022 semi-finals, the English coach cast doubt over his future in his Saturday interview. However, according to the outlet, the Englishman is posed to stay on his job.

reassured players like James Maddison, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Coady, Conor Gallagher, and the two unused goalkeepers, Nick Pope and Aaron Ramsdale who didn't participate as much as expected, that they will have a future in his plans which casts doubts to any rumor of resignation.

Southgate told the media after a 2-1 loss to

"These tournaments take a lot out of you, and I need time to reflect. We've done that after every tournament and that's the right thing to do.

"I don't want to be four, five months down the line thinking I've made the wrong call. It's too important for everybody to get that wrong."

After leading
