Rabiot claims France isn’t dependent on ‘main weapon’ Mbappe

Adrien Rabiot hailed Kylian Mbappe’s great form but insists that Les Bleus aren’t solely relying on Mbappe to get the job done.

Kylian Mbappe has scored 5 goals for France in the 2022 World Cup, becoming the competition’s best goal scorer so far. However, former PSG midfielder,

Adrien Rabiot

claims that France don’t just dependent on Mbappe to get the job done for them.

Former Juventus midfielder’s comments on

Kylian Mbappe

come after Mbappe has been the difference maker for France, when they needed a goal to win. Mbappe was the one to score a brace against Poland as France beat them 3-1 and got into the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

And now with

France

going head to head with England as their toughest game in the tournament up to now, Les Bleus need Mbappe to be firing on all cylinders to get them into the semi-final.

Ahead of the aforementioned clash, Adrien Rabiot talked to the press about not only Mbappe but all the difference makers in the France squad, stating: "

There is no dependency. He is our main weapon, but we also have other players who can make a difference in other ways.

"We count on him as on all the players in the group. Everyone needs to be good health to face England."
