Real Madrid have to pay €27m to bring back Brahim Diaz from Milan

Real Madrid wants to bring back midfielder Brahim Diaz after his loan spell at Milan come to end at the end of the season.

Marca claims that

Milan

wants to keep

Brahim Diaz

but

Real Madrid

prefers to bring him back to the club in the summer.

The 23-year-old Diaz joined Milan on a loan deal in 2020. After the 2020–21 season, he was loaned for another two years to Milan with a buyout option.

Milan reportedly has a €22m buy option but if they decide to buy him permanently, Real Madrid can buy him back from Milan for €27m due to a clause in the contract between the clubs.

Diaz can decide to reject Real’s offer and stay at Milan but Eden Hazard’s future at Real Madrid is unclear and Marco Asensio could leave the club in the summer after his contract expires and Diaz could have a future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Diaz has scored 15 goals in 96 matches for Milan. He has scored 4 goals in 17 matches this season.

The Spanish footballer joined Manchester City academy in 2015 and made his debut for the first team in 2016. He scored two goals for City before joining Real Madrid in 2018. He scored two goals in 21 matches for the Spanish club.
