Barcelona interested in signing Arnau Martinez in January
Barcelona is interested in signing the Girona defender, Arnau Martinez, in the January transfer window.

Xavi reportedly has been impressed by the right back performances this season and Barcelona is weighing up a possible bid for him in January.
Girona coach, Michel Sanchez, recently was asked about rumors that Arnau Martinez is wanted by Barcelona in the January transfer window.
He said:
“It’s a compliment for the kid, but I hope he spends more time with us. It’s good to talk about one but you have to keep improving and with your feet on the ground.”
The 19-year-old defender joined Girona in 2018 and has a contract with them until 2025 with a €20m release clause. Martinez spent six years at the La Masia until 2016.
Martinez has played in 11 matches in La Liga this season and has scored two goals. He was included in Spain’s 55-man provisional World Cup squad.
Xavi has used
Hector Bellerin, Sergi Roberto, Alejandro Balde, and Jules Kounde in right back position but none of them have been impressive and that's why the Catalans are keen to bring in a new right-back. They wanted to sign Cesar Azpilicueta last summer but in the end, they ended up signing Bellerin.
