Salah hopes to turn around Liverpool's season after their win at Tottenham

Despite a dominant second half from the Spurs, Liverpool kept to Mohamed Salah's first-half brace to celebrate their first away Premier League victory of the season on Sunday and now the Egyptian hopes the Reds build on their victory to turn their season around.

Starting the game 10 points away from their 4th-placed host, Jurgen Klopp's men achieved their first away victory of the season in a 2-1 win at

Tottenham

as Darwin Nunez and

Mohamed Salah

were the key figures in their achievement.

Salah opened up for

Liverpool

in the 11th minute through a clinical left-footed finish with an assist provided by

Darwin Nunez.

The Reds continued their dominance in the first half as they finally doubled their lead in the 40th minute when Salah took the most from an error by Eric Dier.

Salah told his post-match interview with

Sky Sports

:<em>

"I think we played quite good and managed to score two goals. In the second half, we could've scored but were unlucky.

"We did well to get the three points. It is always a tough opponent. I'm focused on making a difference and managed to do so today.

"We managed to strike back a few times in the season, have played some good games against City and against Napoli. Hopefully that can give us more confidence to win more games."
