Barcelona, Chelsea and Atletico interested in Bayern's Benjamin Pavard

Joining Bayern in 2019 from Stuttgart, the France international fell out of Julian Nagelsmann's pecking order as he was close to leaving the Bavarians the last summer. With his contract due to expire in 2024, Chelsea, Atletico and Bayern are monitoring the right-back's situation.

Arriving at

Bayern Munich

from Stuttgart in 2019, the 2018 World Cup winner has made 86 appearances for Bayern. However, he lost his place after Julian Nagelsmann took the reign at the Bavarian club. According to

Sport

, with the Frenchman's contract expiring in 2024,

Barcelona

has joined Atletico Madrid and Chelsea in the coming summer as Bayern will be forced to come up with a decision on his future.

The fullback's attitude has been a problem for the Bavarians for several years as

Benjamin Pavard

was most recently fined €50k by the club for drinking while driving after their 2-0 Champions League victory over Barcelona in September.

The defender

recently revealed

his struggle with isolation during his first season at Bayern.

Pavard said:

"It was difficult for everyone, for me too. To be alone, in a country other than mine, I was really not well. In my head, something was wrong.

"At the beginning, you tell yourself that it's nothing, that it will pass, but when you see that it persists, that you go to training, and that you don't have a smile on your face, you have to react.

“I came out of all this as a man, it changed me. I was on my own like many football players and I had to surround myself well to raise my head. I managed to bounce back from difficult times."
