Rabiot committed to helping Juventus now amid transfer interests

The French midfielder was linked with a move to the Red Devils, but due to the tough situation the Bianconeri are enduring, he does not want to consider a move out.

Adrien Rabiot

is not certain about the future as he tries his best to help “drag” Juventus from the poor vein of form they are suffering from since the beginning of the season. The France midfielder’s deal is due to reach its end and there seems to be no sign of a new deal being penned. Rabiot attracted the attention of Manchester United in the summer transfer window, but the deal fell through before they penned a contract with Real Madrid’s Casemiro.

Juventus are sitting eighth in the Serie A table following their disappointing 2-0 loss at the hands of Milan on Saturday and they are struggling to get to the next round of the Champions League. Massimiliano Allegri is also under a lot of pressure at the club.

The Old Lady started their Group H by beating Maccabi Haifa last week and sit four points adrift of Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica. Rabiot also scored a brace in their 3-1 victory. Ahead of the battle against Maccabi on Tuesday, he said that he is determined to turn things around at Juventus and his focus is there.

"I feel important for the team, but I think we all are,"

he said.

"Everyone has an important role. Right now I feel good, I'm trying to drag the team and do my best to help my team-mates.

"I don't know about the future. There are other things to think about now. I'm focused on the pitch, getting out of this difficult moment. Then we'll see what happens."

The ex-PSG man believes explaining why Juve have not lived up to the expectations this season is not an easy task.

He added:

"We are always talking, even when we win. If I had known what was wrong it would have been easy.

"We have to solve the problems on the pitch, we have a good group. We work well in training and we must try to do what we do in training then in the match."
