Zaniolo: Roma are a strong team; Dybala is a champion
Nicol Zaniolo thinks the home crowd will help Roma beat Real Betis in the Europa League and says he's honored to play with Paulo Dybala.
The Giallorossi
's position is at risk in this group, since
Betishave a perfect record after two games, while the Italians have lost to
Ludogorets
and won against HJK.
There are perhaps 5,000 Betis fans in the Capital, and photographs of the mountains of debris left behind can be found online, but they will be drowned out in a sold-out Stadio Olimpico.
“The fans always give us a huge boost, we want to bring home three very important points,”
Nicolo Zaniolotold Sky Sport Italia
. “It’s a positive period of form, we won at San Siro in Serie A and today have to get the victory to keep this run going. We know Betis are a strong team, but so are Roma, we’ve proved it before and will do again today.”
Tammy Abraham is back in the starting lineup, while Lorenzo Pellegrini is out with an injury, so Zaniolo begins with Dybala.
“Dybala is a champion and it is an honour for me to share the field with him.”
