Felix believes maturing process occurred under Simeone
The Portuguese star has gone through difficult times in Madrid but is hopeful for the future.
Felix joined this club in 2019 as the most expensive player in the history of Atlético, but he could not perform acceptable until last season. However, the Portuguese star had a good show last season, but injury stopped him once again. Some believed that he was unable to communicate effectively with Diego Simeone, but Felix denied that.
He said:
“El Cholo taught me things that I still had not learnt. Managers are there in order to teach those things. Things that he has shown me that are of benefit to me. It is his role.”
“I can still improve, I have a lot of years ahead of me. I have a lot to show.”
