Potter's media unveiling canceled after Queen's death

The English coach was announced as Chelsea's new boss.

have announced that Graham Potter's induction ceremony has been canceled following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The new Chelsea manager was supposed to be introduced to the media for the first time at 13:30 today at the Cobham Chelsea training ground. The appointment was made on the Thursday before the Queen's death, and Chelsea announced that it had canceled Friday's event.

This decision was made while the Premier League was also held this week and it was announced at 11:30 that this week's matches are likely to be postponed.

After the sacking of Thomas Tuchel, Potter left

Brighton

to take charge of Chelsea. The German champion was sacked from the Blues on Wednesday, a day after they lost to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
