Tottenham confirmed: Romero signs for Spurs on a permanent deal

Cristian Romerohas joined Spurs on a permanent basis after a loan spell.
The 24-year-old defender joined Tottenham for a season 12 months ago and had a permanent transfer clause in his contract. He played in 30 games for his team last season and played twice for his team in the Premier League this season before getting injured.
The Tottenham club announced on their official website that they have reached an agreement with Atalanta for this transfer and the Argentinian defender will stay at the London Stadium with a contract until the 2026-27 season. Romero, who previously played in Serie A for Genoa and Juventus, is expected to be a key player for Argentina at the World Cup.
