Bayern Munich: Bologna set to win the race for Joshua Zirkzee

Bologna deal with Bayern Munich for Zirkzee.

German news outlets say that

Bologna

and Bayern Munich striker

Joshua Zirkzee

have agreed on the main points of a transfer. Zirkzee will try again to make a name for himself in Serie A.

Sky Sports Deutschland says the clubs are still working out the last details but the fee will be €8.5 million plus 50% of the future sell-on transfer.

Bayern Munich

could also keep a clause that lets them buy him back if he doesn't live up to his potential.

Zirkzee has already agreed to personal terms on a contract at the

Stadio Dall'Ara

until June 2026. The 21-year-old Dutch center forward has played in Serie A before, when he was loaned to Parma for six months in 2021.

Last season, he played for RSC Anderlecht. In 47 games for the Belgian club, he scored 18 goals and had 13 assists, which is a lot. VfB Stuttgart was trying to sign Zirkzee, but Bologna beat them to the punch.
