Official: Maldini loaned from Milan to Spezia
Daniel Maldini has completed his loan move to Spezia, breaking his family's Milan ties.

The Rossoneri said in a statement that it is a dry loan, which means it will only last for one season, and there is no option to buy.
The 20-year-old creative midfielder is the son of director Paolo Maldini and the grandson of Milan legend
Cesare Maldini
. Since Cesare stopped playing for Torino in 1967, he is the first member of this Calcio family to play for a Serie A team other than the Diavolo.
Daniel also has a brother named Christian. Christian plays for Pro Sesto in
Serie C
and has never played in the top flight. Daniel Maldini has played 15 times in Serie A and scored one goal. Interestingly, that goal came against his new team Spezia in September 2021.
