Boca Juniors confirm they are in talks with Vidal

Arturo Vidal, a midfielder for Inter, is close to making a deal with Boca Juniors, according to his cousin Gonzalo Vasquez.

His contract with the

Nerazzurri

is up in June 2023, and coach

Simone Inzaghi

has no plans for him, so both sides are likely to agree to end it.

Even though

Galatasaray

has a good offer, he might go back to South America, and

Boca Juniors

seems to be ahead of Flamengo in the race.

"Flamengo praised him, but Boca moved quickly, and I think there's a 70–80% chance it will get done," Vasquez told Radio La Red. "He doesn't care about money, or he would go to Qatar or the U.S. He wants to feel that passion again, and he wants to shake the Bombonera. It would be a big deal for his career.

The coach of Boca Juniors, Sebastian Battaglia, also said something about the rumors that

Arturo Vidal

might join the team in Argentina.

"I heard there were talks, but I haven't been able to talk to him yet. We know what kind of player Vidal is and what it would mean for us if he joined us, so we're very excited."
