Riquelme: Sergio Busquets has chenged the concept of football

Riquelme said:

“When he appeared, Sergio Busquets changed the concept of football. He’s unique in the world. There’s no other player like him. Sergio Busquets has puzzled world football - he is incomprehensible to the pivot player. He is the only player I have known in my life who has combined the characteristics of a pivot and a playmaker, there is only one Busquets."

Former Villarreal star also talked about his role at Boca Juniors.

“Happiness is much bigger than before. After election day, this is a gift to me. This gift was given to me by the fans. I could have given them a game, a goal, or a pipe. They clearly care for me a lot. It was my obligation to defend these colors in the best way”.

“Before, the technical director chose me. This decision, that I return to the club, is all the fans. I am in the club that I love, my house, my place. The fan loves me too much, I don’t know why they love me so much. They trust me and I trust them. I’m a fan just like them. Now it’s their club.”

“The day we beat Real Madrid we were very happy. But the day we won the elections and returned to the club, I think I felt even more happiness.”
