Neymar slams PSG fans: I'm here for three more years so stop booing

Supporters of Paris Saint-Germain have expressed their dissatisfaction, but Neymar has stated that he does not want to leave the Ligue 1 winners.

Neymar has informed the protesting

Paris Saint-Germain

fans that they would "need more air" if they keep doing so if he stays at the club for the next three years.

Since dropping out of the

Champions League

at the last-16 round against Real Madrid on March 9, the Brazil international and his teammates have been tailored by their own supporters.

Despite the fact that Saturday's 1-1 stalemate with Lens confirmed PSG's 10th

Ligue 1

trophy, only Saint-Etienne has won the tournament as many times as PSG.

Despite being upset by the constant jeers, Neymar, who is under contract until July 2025, reaffirmed that he will not be leaving the Parc des Princes at the conclusion of the season.

"I still have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain," he told ESPN Argentina. "I'm here for three more years, so stop [booing] or you'll need more air."

This season, Neymar has 11 goals and seven assists in 25 appearances for PSG in all competitions, averaging 0.78 goal involvements per 90 minutes.

Only Kylian Mbappe (1.3) and Lionel Messi (0.79) are ahead of him among PSG's regulars this season.

Marco Verratti

is another player who has played a key role in the Parisians' eighth Ligue 1 title in ten seasons, having been a member of the roster in each of them.

The Italian international has now lifted the French top division trophy the more than any other player.

Nevertheless, following the title-clinching win, Verratti stated that the response of PSG fans inside the Parc des Princes shocked him.

"Not celebrating is something I don't understand," he told Canal+.

"It's football; sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. We are normal people, we can have failures. But the 10th title is important."
