Official: Vinicius Tobias joins Real Madrid from Shakhtar Donetsk

, the Brazilian right-back has signed a five-year pre-contract with Los Blancos and will be on loan until June 2023. If Madrid exercises their option to acquire for between €17 million and €18 million, this will be implemented.

 is taking advantage of a FIFA clause that allows players based in

to secure transfers outside of the regular transfer window due to the crisis in those countries.

Madrid must also improve their right-back position. This season, 

 and Lucas Vazquez have both played there, although neither has impressed. We require new blood.

Vinicius, who is 18 years old, will bring that, but he will begin with Castilla. During the January transfer window, the Brazilian joined Shakhtar from Internacional. He'll be hoping to make an impression and gain a spot on the first team.
