Juventus not necessarily favorite against Villareal - Del Piero

Villarreal's training ground yesterday and claimed that Juventus is not the favorite to win the game.
Villarreal host Juventus in the Champions League tonight in Spain. They won the Europa League last season and have a lot of motivation to advance from the knock out stage of Champions League. Del Piero, the club's all-time leading goalscorer with the most appearances for the team, has claimed that Juventus is not
necessarily favorite to win the match.
“Juventus’ potential is massive, but they have evident limits that must be overtaken,” the former No.10 said.
“The amount of points in Serie A has decreased every season in the last four years and this must mean something, regardless of the coaches. The quality of the team, especially in midfield, is not the same as in the golden era.
“If you don’t have that, you have to make up for it, playing well and showing Juventus’ mentality.
“The quarter-finals cannot be the minimum target for a team like Juventus,” Del Piero continued.
“Juventus are the absolute favourite if you consider the quality of the team, but looking at results and performances this season, then the values are much more similar.
“Juventus must avoid one mistake, which is not being on the same level as Villareal in terms of intensity.”
