FA has asked Rooney to explain his recent comments

Wayne Rooney’s recent comments may cause him trouble as FA asks for explanation.

Derby County’s

manager

Wayne Rooney

had talked about a memory from 2006 when he was playing against

Chelsea

as a

Manchester United

player revealing that he changed his studs before their clash to help him hurt someone as the Blues needed only one point to win the Premier League title, and they managed to defeat the Red Devils, and Wayne Rooney had a clash with

John Terry

in the last minutes of the game.

Rooney said that he was so angry with the situation that he intended to hurt one of Chelsea’s players, so he changed his studs before the match.

“I changed my studs before the game,"

he said.

“I put longer studs in because I wanted to hurt someone.

“If Chelsea won a point, they won the league. At that time, I couldn't take it. The studs were legal. They were a legal size. But they were bigger than what I would normally wear.”

Now the reports suggest that FA has been concerned by the former England star and has asked the Derby County manager to give some explanations about the matter, although Terry didn’t pick a serious injury in that incident.
