Brentford to offer Thomas Frank fresh terms

Brentford are aiming to start talks with Thomas Frank about a new deal, as per reports from 90min.

were busy giving star players new contracts as their deals would expire within 18 months, with Pontus Jansson and Christian Norgaard signing new terms recently.

As per reports from

, Thomas Frank is next in line for his new contract, although he emphasized in his press conference that he is not worried about his future at the moment.

When quizzed by 90min whether he has any worries about reaching the final 18 months of his current deal, Frank replied:

"No concern, I'm very happy here. As far as I know, Matthew [Benham], Phil [Giles] and the club are very happy with me.

"I'm in a fantastic club with a great future ahead. Let's see what happens in the future."

The Dane made a move to Brentford in 2017 as an assistant coach, but he was later promoted to his current role after Dean Smith departed for Aston Villa a year later.

Following a rocky start, his team became one of the finest sides in the Championship. They did not get promoted to the Premier League as Fulham won the title in the 2019/20 season.

Frank was in charge as the Bees’ got transitioned to the Brentford Community Stadium amid the pandemic and now has to keep their rich vein of form as a

side now.
