They have been struggling with financial problems and are now trying to pen an extension with Lautaro Martinez, hoping to be as competitive as last season, but the club VC admitted that this campaign will be ‘complicated’.

“It will be a difficult and complicated season.

“This must be said to be fair to everyone, but it must also be said that we will be competitive. Inzaghi is working well.”

The Belgium international rejoined Chelsea on a deal worth €115m this summer and Inter brought in Edin Dzeko as a replacement.
