Wolves forward Raul Jimenez returned from a eight-month injury

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez returned to action after eight months of injury and played a friendly against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

Jimenez

suffered a skull fracture last November after crashing with

David Luiz

during the game against Arsenal and has not been able to play since.

The 30-year-old striker returned to training in May, six months after undergoing surgery for what Wolverhampton reported as a

"major traumatic brain injury and skull fracture

".

Jimenez joined Wolverhampton in July 2019 and scored 30 goals for the Wolves in two seasons when he was fully prepared.
