Milan reach agreements with Giroud, Brahim Diaz, and Ballo-Toure
Olivier Giroud is not Milan’s only new signing, as they are about to sign two more deals in the next 24 hours with Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz and AS Monaco left-back Ballo-Toure.
Olivier Giroud
landed at Linate Airport in Milan with a private jet this evening. He is going to have his medical tomorrow and will complete his transfer from Chelsea for €1 million plus up to another €1 million bonus depending on his performance.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, Giroud’s contract was not the only deal that
Milanhave done.
Milan are also about to close two more deals with important players over the next 24 hours.
One of them is
Brahim Diaz
, whom Real Madrid have agreed to release on a two-year loan for a total €3 million fee.
Milan will have an option to buy for €22 million, but crucially Real Madrid retain a counter-option for €27 million so they can bring him back to base.
The midfielder spent last season at Milan on loan and wanted to stay longer after they were qualified for the Champions League.
Milan also reached an agreement with AS Monaco for 24-year-old Senegal international left-back
Ballo-Toure
.
In the next couple of days, he is going to Italy for a medical. His transfer fee is set at €4 million plus up to another €0.5 million in add-ons.
