Spain midfielder says they have the potential to ‘pass into the Euro2020 knockouts’, despite their frustrating start.

Having come out of the pitch with a 0-0 draw in their Euro opener against
Sweden
, La Roja are now standing second in the Group E table with two points, which puts them in desperate need for a win against
Slovakia
in their next match, at least to be qualified for the knockout stage.
Spain midfielder
Rodri Hernandez, however, believes they have all it takes to qualify for the next round of the competition.
In an interview with Telecinco, reported by
Mundo Deportivo, the Spaniard said:
“We are frustrated, that much is evident. The key word is frustration.
“The ball does not want to go in the goal and the pitch is not in the best condition to play against a defensive team.
“I don’t see any team winning easily and any game is measured by the small details.
“When you don’t score, the doubts come in. But we have a final ahead of us against Slovakia.
“Football owes us a favor and I hope the fans are with us. I am sure we will pass into the knockouts. But it depends on us.”
