Barcelona linked to Atalanta’s German fullback

Registering 11 goals and 6 assists in his 31 Serie A appearances, Robin Gosens has been among key stars of Gasperini’s side in the last three seasons after he made a $1.29m move from Eredivisie side, Heracles Almelo, in 2017.

According to

Diario Sport

, the Catalan giants are monitoring the 26-year-old’s situation ahead of a possible move in the summer as they are considering subsequent long-term replacements for their veteran left-back, Jordi Alba.

With his current contract at the club expiring in 12 months, La Dea’s €40m asking price for the fullback is likely to be lowered to under €25m as he has been linked with a move to Dortmund and Leicester City recently.

Barcelona’s other option for the position is reportedly Valencia’s Jose Gaya, who’s likely to cost La Blaugrana around €35m.
