Terzic: ‘We will make the best decision in the interests of Dortmund’

The Bild reported last week that Edin Terzic has turned down an offer to replace Adi Hutter at Eintracht Frankfurt while he has been linked to the dugout of various Premier League clubs.

The 38-year-old has replaced Lucien Favre as Dortmund’s interim coach in December, and while has been encouraged by many pundits to leave the club as Marco Rose will take the reign at the club, he has no problem with being Rose’s assistant coach at the club.

"We have clearly expressed the wish that my path can continue here with pleasure," he told reporters.

"We will make the best decision in the interests of the club.

"At some point you will find out. I will go home with full enjoyment. I will enjoy that completely for the next few days."

Terzic speaks fluent English and completed his coaching certification in England. He has previously worked with Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp as well, and the combination builds the German a great resume to work in the Premier League as he reportedly finds the idea of moving to a direct Bundesliga competitor too stressful and an illogical career move.
