Man City Fernandinho sets sight on UCL glory after winning PL title

Manchester City captain Fernandinho has his eyes set on Champions League glory after his side won their third Premier League in four years.

’s team secured their second trophy in a little over two weeks after they beat

Tottenham

to claim the

Carabao Cup

and they are also in their first Champions League final after beating

Paris Saint-Germain

last week.

City have confirmed that they will welcome back 10000 supporters to the Etihad Stadium for the club’s final Premier League match of the season against Everton, and Fernandinho is delighted to see their fans again.

"We have missed the fans so much,"

he said.

"We wanted to do this for them.

"We will enjoy this moment and we hope the fans do too.

"Rest assured we will continue to do everything we can to bring the Champions League home this season."

Fernandinho has now won four Premier League titles since joining City in 2013, but this is his first as captain.

"To captain this team is an honor and a privilege because the players have given their all throughout season, whether in training or in matches,"

said Fernandinho

.

“The teamwork has been amazing. Football is everything to us and we strive every single day to be as good as we can be in the hope we can bring success to Manchester City.”
