and have started to negotiate over bringing the player to England, but they will probably have to overcome Manchester United in the race for the Turkey international, according to the reports.

Merih Demiral has been experiencing a bad season, facing injuries and falling out of form, which led to struggles for playing time under Andrea Pirlo, which makes the possibility of his departure stronger.

Calciomercato has claimed that the Toffees will offer €25-30 million for the defender, although it seems like a bit less than the Italian side wants for the player; however, an agreement could be reachable considering the player’s form and the situation in the club.

Everton has been in negotiations with the Turkey international’s representative, so the Toffees seem closer in the race for signing the 23-year-old.

Demiral, who is receiving €1.8m per year, can join the Premier League side to receive at least €3m per year, but he doesn’t want to decide in a hurry and prefers to keep his focus on his performance in his national team this summer in the European Championship, where he can show his potential and even find better teams in the transfer market based on his performance.
