Madrid's hopes to have Kylian Mbappe collapses with Super League delay

According to a report in Diario AS, Los Blancos’ dreams and goals of signing the Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe have stopped because of the collapse of the proposed European Super League.

The 22-year-old has been a hero in

Real Madrid

news for a long time now.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to the Spanish champions and he has often admired Madrid's boss, Zinedine Zidane.

Seemingly, the league’s proposals being held back– if not canceled completely – will significantly hit Madrid’s projected income stream and will seriously limit their ability to sign high-level players this year.

Madrid president, Florentino Perez, who is the proposed chairman of the ESL, is commented by the

report

by saying on Cadena Ser last week: “Mbappe and Haaland? Without the Super League there cannot be those signings, neither from us nor anyone else.”

The French striker has shone for PSG over last years and his arrival would change the attacking potential of the Spanish champions.

Mbappe

has scored 117 goals in 166 matches since moving in PSG in 2017 from Monaco.
