‘Of course a top idea’ – Jesse Marsch sets sight on RB Leipzig return
Red Bull Salzburg manager Jesse Marsch has expressed his interest in returning to RB Leipzig after the news has emerged that Julian Nagelsmann could leave the club to be Hansi Flick's successor at Bayern Munich.

worked for the Leipzig team in the 2018/19 season, at that time as the assistant coach of
Nagelsmann
's predecessor
Ralf Rangnick
. He then left the club to take charge of
Red Bull Salzburg.
The American led the Austrian club to the league and cup glory in his first season and they are the biggest favorite to win the Bundesliga this season.
Now with speaculation over Nagelsmann's future at RB Leizpig, Jess Marsch, 47, is a hot candidate for the Bundesliga outfit.
"Of course I understand the club very well. If you ask me what would fit best, RB Leipzig is of course a top idea,"
Marsch told
Skywhen asked about reports linking him to the Bundesliga team

"But Julian Nagelsmann is doing a great job and there is currently no reason for Leipzig to look for a new coach. But if I can have the opportunity as a coach in Leipzig, then that's a great idea for me."
