Tottenham keen on signing with Joachim Andersen

The Spurs are interested in a move for the Denmark international in the summer transfer window.

Joachim Andersen

is playing for

Fulham

on a loan deal from

Lyon

and has been running on a rich vein of form this season, attracting the attention of

Tottenham

and

Manchester United

.

According to reports from

Express

, Spurs are going to meet with the Denmark international’s representatives for a discussion about a potential move. The 24-year-old’s current contract with his parent club expires in three years.

Andersen moved to Lyon in 2019 from Sampdoria on a €30 million transfer fee that is a record for both parties.

Juninho Pernambucano, Lyon’s chief executive, believes the Danish player “will want to extend his adventure in the Premier League” but the French champions “will welcome him with open arms” if he wants to come back.

Fulham are expected to sign a permanent deal with Andersen but their four losses have put Fulham six points adrift of Newcastle, who sit 17th.

Andersen has featured in 26 games for Fulham, meeting the back of the net for the first time in last month’s defeat over Leeds.
