Thomas Tuchel celebrates 12 unbeaten games in a draw against Leeds
The German boss matched Mourinho and Scolari’s record of 12 unbeaten run in his first 12 games with the Premier League side in their draw with Leeds United.
Thomas Tuchel added another record to his honours in their 0-0 draw with
Leeds Unitedby marking his 12th unbeaten run with
Chelseamatching Jose Mourinho and Luiz Felipe Scolari’s records at Stamford Bridge.
The German, who took charge of the
Premier Leagueside after Frank Lampard’s exit, has yet to witness a defeat with his new squad.
Scolari’s was able to mark such record in 2008 before his departure in 2009 after failing to keep on the team’s consistency in the top-flight competition.
But before of Scolari, it was
Tottenham’s current coach, who had an impressive start with Chelsea in 2004.
Out of Tuchel’s first 12 games in charge of Chelsea, the former Paris Saint-Germain has been able to witness 10 of their games ending with a clean-sheet.
Tuchel, who believes his man did well in their game at Elland Road despite their draw, told

“We had enough chances to score. It was an OK game, sometimes it is hard to score.”
“It is not that you get what you wish for and we have to keep on working hard and be more precise in the opponents' box.”
“It was not so nice to play and the pitch is not in good condition - this is a factor."
“Our timing in the last 20 minutes - we need to be more clinical. We invest a lot against the ball so also we were tired when we arrived in good positions.”
