Liverpool won't go to China or US for pre-season

If the restrictions are not changed, Liverpool will remain in Europe and possibly move to France in the summer.

Maybe no one expected the pandemic to last this long as football fans can not yet enter the stadiums and football clubs are facing many difficulties because of the outbreak. Financially, teams have been hit but it’s not just about money but even their summer plans are affected by Covid-19.

The Athletic

reports that it is highly unlikely that

Liverpool

decide to go to China or the United States for their summer pre-season camp and as result, there will be no participation in the Champions Cup. Instead, Liverpool are planning to have their camp in Europe and probably France.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are not spending a very great season as they are struggling for a Champions League spot in the Premier League and a good pre-season for next year is what they really need. Liverpool hope that they are not forced to change the destination of the camp like last season. Klopp prefers Lyon as he is pleased by the facilities there.
