Serie A giants eyeing Romero amid Mallorca’s struggle to sign him

The youngest midfielder to have appeared in La Liga is attracting a lot of attention and planning his future.

Luka Romero

has caught the eye of

Juventus

,

AC Milan

,

Inter

, and

Napoli

as

Mallorca

are trying to put pen to paper with the 16-year-old, according to

Goal

.

The teenager has set the record of the youngest to have graced a

La Liga

match in June 2020 when he climbed off the bench to go against

Real Madrid

with the age of 15 years and 219 days. Although his side failed to make it out of the relegation in La Liga, he was handed senior game time and his potential was not taken for granted as many big clubs are interested in acquiring his services.

He scored his first competitive goal in November and is now weighing up his options for the future.

Despite Mallorca’s struggle to sign the youngster ever since he turned 16, he has yet to decide as he seeks certain assurances if he were to put pen to paper with his current club for a five-year deal.

Romero is looking for more game time in the first-team, with money not being an important factor in his decision.

It seems that the

Serie A

clubs may have to look elsewhere should the Argentina youth international decides to remain put.
