Leno believes that abusive comments can change a life very easy

'do it like Enke' as written on a comment for Bernd Leno has got him thinking about the impact of social media.

Bernd Leno

believes that social media comments can affect one's life very easy.

He talks about one of his experiences in this matter and said:

"I have a lot of experience with that, here and also in Germany. There was one thing that kept in my mind, it was crazy.

“I had a very bad game and then one guy on social media said to me 'do it like

Enke

'.

“Since I read this I realise that there are so many stupid people on social media. That is the reason I don't read it even when everything is good. I don't need that, it doesn't make me better, it is wasting time.

Robert Enke committed suicide in 2010.

The use of social media to leave abusive comments on the accounts of footballers has turned into a serious problem for the clubs.

Paul Pogba

,

Marcus Rashford

, and

tammy Abraham

have recently been the subject of this type of abuse.

James McClean

has also published a post on such kinds of abuses

.

Leno thinks that some people just want to make the other people feel bad. He said:

"There are so many fake people that hide behind their computers to make you feel bad. Many times with racism, abuse to families, I don't like it, I don't read it. It affects your life, what is the point?”

This situation has got the clubs demanding the people in charge to set a ban time for the accounts that comment, using abusive language.
