Tuchel avoids talking about attracting two Bundesliga stars
There is a lot of talk about the Blues' interest in signing two Bundesliga stars.
boss Thomas Tuchel has reacted to rumors that his side are interested in signing Dayot Upamecano and Erling Haaland.
The Blues are among several European clubs looking to sign Leipzig defender Upamecano and Dortmund striker Haaland. Of course, many teams will take on the mission of recruiting these two players in the summer, but Tuchel did not talk about this issue and respected the two clubs of Leipzig and Dortmund.
Tuchel said:
"I can understand the interest in the question and the interest of every fan and supporter to talk about these subjects,"
Tuchel said.
"I am always a fan and am interested in what's going on.
"But now it is February and there is a long way to go. As you get to know me, you will know I will not talk about other players who are under contract.
"This is the type of respect I show. Everything else will be decided behind closed doors. I'm sorry."
Chelsea spend the most in Europe in the summer and attracted many players, but the performance of these players was lower than expected.
