Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo moves in Nice on loan
Jean-Clair Todibo has moved in the Ligue 1 team, Nice on loan for the rest of the season.
The French U20 joined
Barcelonafrom Toulouse in January 2019, but he was unable to shine at the Camp Nou, with playing just four La Liga matches.
He went for the Bundesliga team, Schalke 04 on loan for the second half of last season, but the German team were not convinced to activate his €25m purchase clause.
Finally, he joined Portuguese giants Benfica on loan in October, for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign, with a €20m purchase clause.
However,
Barcelonahave decided to end his agreement at the Estadio da Luz in favor of a return to France.
The transfer includes a purchase option of €8.5m which will play at the end of the season, with €7.5m in variables should he make a permanent move to Adrian Ursea’s team.
