Giancarlo Inzaghi wants his sons’ sides to draw

Two Inzaghi brothers will face each other once again during Lazio’s away match against Benevento. Their father hopes the match ends up as a draw.

Simone Inzaghi

was able to win his brother’s side during the only time their sides face each other as

Lazio

beat

Bologna

2-0 at the Stadio Dall’Ara in December 2018.

Now two brothers will face each other once again while

Simone

coaches

Lazio

, who are ninth in the table, and

Filippo

manages

Benevento

, sitting 15

th

of the Serie A’s table. Their father,

Giancarlo

, hopes the tie end as a happy ending for both of his sons.

“I hoped that my boys would arrive at the challenge with more serenity,” he told Il Messaggero. “In the end, I will cheer for a draw.

“It might satisfy Benevento more, but for luck, I don’t want to make any predictions.

“My wife Marina and I will watch the game on TV, perhaps even with 93-year-old grandmother Maria.”

Giancarlo Inzaghi

is happy with his sons’ relationship and believes the two will talk to each other before the match.

“I’m sure my children will speak to each other before the game, as they do every day, by the way.”
