French defender not wanted by neither Benfica nor Barcelona

Barcelona are said to have clarified that Jean-Clair Todibo won't be getting back to the club from Benfica regardless of how much the Portuguese club may need it as per Mundo Deportivo.

didn't request Todibo to come back when they were amidst a full-back plight and are insistent that they couldn't have even if they wanted to, based on their agreement with Benfica when the Frenchman joined the Portuguese side on a loan spell in summer.

Benfica

paid €2m to bring in Todibo however are said to not be content with him. They've expressed remarks through the media lately proposing as much that Barcelona sources keep up is just an endeavor on their part to apply tension on the Catalan side. 

The 22-year-old was loaned to Benfica to attain game-time however he hasn't played any hitherto. Head coach of As Águias 

Jorge Jesus

exploited a public interview in front of their Europa League face-off against Standard Liege to say:

“Todibo has neither the physical nor tactical conditions [to play]. He has not worked with the team and he’s not one of the players I’m thinking of.”
