Klopp players would kill for him - Boateng
The former Ghana international has good memories of playing for Klopp.
Kevin Prince Boateng claimed that Jürgen
Klopp's players were ready to kill for him.
Jürgen Klopp has had significant success with Liverpool in recent years. He has won the Champions League and the Premier League with the Redds and has recorded impressive statistics. He had significant achievements with Dortmund in the past, too, and the players who had played under him have always said that they had a delightful experience working with him.
Boateng, who played ten games for Dortmund under Klopp's management in the 2008-09 season, has claimed that the club's players would kill for him.
“He’s someone who gives you so much energy, makes you believe in things you couldn’t reach. He is the number one for this,"
Boateng said.
“For many, he is not the best coach in the world but he has this incredible grit and wickedness that transmits you. Who goes onto the pitch, would kill for him.”
However, from Boateng's point of view, Jürgen Klopp is not the best coach he has ever worked with.
“De Zerbi is the best one I’ve had,”
the former Milan star added.
“For his idea of football and as a person. He has everything. I’ve always said that for me is the strongest coach I’ve had in my career, he is complete.
“Football is his life, look at what he’s built with Sassuolo in such a short time.”
