We need to know our opponents well, claims Liverani

says that he was aware the Benevento would sit back and claims that he knew about the approach of their opponent.

“We were aware they would come here and sit deep with ten players behind the ball,”

Liverani told Sky Sport.

“We had to be quicker, there are no secrets when you face this kind of teams, you need pace and creativity in the final third.

“Gervinho is a player that needs to be activated quickly, if you pass through defenders and midfielders it becomes difficult from him to be dangerous, we need know our opponents well.

“[Yann] Karamoh did some mistakes, I replaced him with [Juan] Brunetta as I thought he could give me something more. Patience is needed as Italian football can be tricky for young players.”

Parma are currently sitting on the 16th position with 9 points while with 10 points, Benevento are 14th on the table.
