Ivan Marcone’s obligatory buyout clause triggered
Ivan Marcone, the Argentine midfielder, will stay in Elche permanently.
The 30-year-old appeared in five matches for The Green Striped Ones counting the tie 1-1 with Levante leading his compulsory purchase, which was part of his loan deal, come into action.
The Argentine midfielder will be purchased €4.2m for his rights to be turned over to
Elcheby Christian Bragarnik. The reason behind the current structure of the deal was for the transfer to be registered next season rather than this one courtesy of liquidity absence.
